Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking an Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging, including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, with modality-assisted drainage and biopsies. The role includes post-processing and maintaining patient records while following established protocols for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Required AMA/JRCERT accredited radiologic technology education, ARRT/R registration upon hire, RCIS is a plus,

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital training.
• ARDRT/R Radiographer Registration required upon hire, or RCIS with designation.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.
• Advanced ARRT in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, GI studies).
• Performs modality-assisted drainage and biopsies and completes post-processing tasks.
• Maintains patient records and adheres to established protocols for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
