Job summary

Piedmont is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Athens, Georgia. In this role, you will perform various diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care. The position offers a supportive environment with flexible schedules.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Required certifications include ARDMS or ARRT for Radiographer and Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• (R) ARDMS or ARRT — Radiographer Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists is required on hire.
• BCLS — Basic Life Support is required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiography and venography.
• Complete all post processing functions.
• Ensure utilization of established protocols for different patient populations.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro‑ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
