Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiological Technologist to perform invasive imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes at James Cancer Hospital. You will educate patients and contribute to quality assessment under supervision of the Imaging Manager.

Applicants must have an Associate's Degree, ARRT Radiography Certification, Ohio Radiology License, and ACLS/BLS/RQI certifications prior to orientation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• ARRT Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License required.
• ACLS certification required prior to orientation; BLS/RQI certification also required.

Position Summary

The Interventional Radiological Technologist performs invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License.
• Must obtain ACLS certification in addition to BLS/RQI certification prior to orientation completion.
• Advanced Certification in Angiography, Interventional or Vascular preferred.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
