The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiological Technologist to perform invasive angiographic and cardiovascular imaging procedures for diagnosis. You will educate patients and engage in quality improvement activities under the Cath Lab Manager.

Location: East Hospital - Tower. Shift is 36 hours weekly on four 9-hour days, with call coverage on weekdays and alternating weekends; no regular weekends or holidays required beyond assigned calls.

Qualificações

• Certified ARRT radiography with current ODH licensure.
• Pursuing an advanced registry in Angiography/IR/Vascular.
• Previous interventional radiology experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient education and support within the Cath Lab.

Position Summary

The Interventional Radiological Technologist performs invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Cath Lab Manager.

Scope of Position: The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s mission is to improve health in Ohio and across the world through innovation in research, education, and patient care. The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization. The IR technologist plays a critical role in staff engagement , the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost effective care.

Training Requirements: 1 week orienation/training
Shift Availability: Four 9-hour days (36 hours/week), flexible
Weekend Coverage: No weekends or holidays required, except for assigned call coverage. Call responsibilities include one weekday per week and every fourth weekend

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire: A.R.R.T. Radiography registered with current ODH licensure. Individual must have work toward completion of an advanced registry in Angiography/IR/Vascular. Previous interventional radiology experience is preferred
