Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist specializing in vascular procedures to perform invasive angiographic imaging and support patient care in the Ross Heart Hospital. You will perform diagnostic and interventional imaging, provide patient education, and participate in quality assessment under the Imaging Manager.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT Radiography Certification and OH license; an associate degree is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• ARRT Radiography Certification and OH Radiology License required.
• Advanced Angiography/Interventional/Vascular certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures.
• Provide patient education and support during procedures.
• Conduct quality assessment activities for the imaging division under the Imaging Manager.

Department: University Hospital | Perioperative Imaging

The Interventional Radiological Technologist performs invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License.
• Advanced Certification in Angiography, Interventional or Vascular preferred.
• 0 years of relevant experience required. Previous experience preferred.
