New Directions Mental Health, part of Transformations Care Network, seeks an Interventional Psychiatry Support Specialist (Medical Assistant) to assist in delivering TMS and Spravato therapies. The role emphasizes patient care, documentation, and coordination across clinics.

The position offers full-time hours with a $2,000 hiring incentive for qualified candidates and requires a Bachelor’s in a clinical field and HIPAA compliance. CPR certification is also expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical discipline required.
• 1+ year medical office or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
• CPR certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Administer Spravato and/or TMS treatments per physician protocols.
• Document outcomes and report adverse events to the physician.
• Schedule and manage client appointments; coordinate care.
• Assist with intake, vitals, and insurance verification.
• Record session notes and complete superbill documentation.
• Provide compassionate support to clients with depression and related disorders.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure setup during treatments.
• Collaborate with interventional psychiatry vendors for coordination.
• Provide coverage at nearby clinics and service sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
