Hourly Pay Range: $26.42 - $40.95 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Interventional Procedures Assistant
• Hours: Weekday, day shift (7:30 am start)
• On Call: Rotating on-call responsibility (includes weekends)

What you will do:

• Prepares both sterile and nonsterile equipment, catheters, and technology utilized pre, intra, and post procedure Performs as a scrub assist aiding the physician and Radiology Technologist in circulating the procedure, setting up equipment, obtaining the necessary equipment needed for the procedure, open product as needed and dropping onto sterile table. Assist physician in obtaining vascular access (femoral, radial, brachial, jugular, peripheral, and transseptal), central venous line placement, and drain placement. Responsible for supply management and restocking of supplies The functional demands of the job are medium, requiring high energy level. Activity level throughout the work day; lift and carry 40-50 lbs., push/ pull +/- 150 – 200 lbs

What you will need:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Certification: BLS Certification required
• Experience: Looking for applicants seeking knowledge and skill development in an acute care setting. Ideal applicant is students in Nursing or Allied Health fields (Radiology, Respiratory therapy, Ultrasound/Sonography).
• Skills: Task oriented, good communication, likes to be part of a team
