## Interventional Procedures AssistantApply: EDH Main Hospital Naperville: Full time: Posted Today: R47910**Hourly Pay Range:**$26.42 - $40.95 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** **Position:** Interventional Procedures Assistant* **Hours:** Weekday, day shift (7:30 am start)* **On Call:** Rotating on-call responsibility (includes weekends)**What you will do:*** Performs a combination of tasks/skills pre, during, and after the IR procedure to assist the procedural team (physicians, registered nurses and radiologic technologists).* Prepares both sterile and nonsterile equipment, catheters, and technology utilized pre, intra, and post procedure* Performs as a scrub assist aiding the physician and Radiology Technologist in circulating the procedure, setting up equipment, obtaining the necessary equipment needed for the procedure, open product as needed and dropping onto sterile table.* Assist physician in obtaining vascular access (femoral, radial, brachial, jugular, peripheral, and transseptal), central venous line placement, and drain placement.* Responsible for supply management and restocking of supplies* The functional demands of the job are medium, requiring high energy level.
