Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Procedure Technician to manage patient flow and assist physicians in interventional procedures. You will obtain vitals, document history, and perform supportive patient care under physician supervision in a fast-paced procedure room.

The role requires cardiac care basics, sterile technique, and accurate documentation in the EMR. Candidates with fluoroscopy experience and prior sterile technique training are preferred; multiple shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant Certification and CPR.
• Fluoroscopy competency and sterile technique knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Obtain patient vitals and update medical records.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control procedures.
• Prepare procedure room and equipment for interventional procedures.
• Document all activities and communications in the medical record.
