Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Interventional Pain Management Center in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a skilled NP or PA to join an outpatient team. The selected candidate will perform comprehensive evaluations, manage chronic pain conditions, and participate in interventional strategies using imaging-guided techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Board certification and NC licensure required (PA).
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner master’s program (NP).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive examinations, evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for chronic pain conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other team members to deliver team-based care.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and imaging as part of patient management.
• Educate patients about procedures, expectations, and non-opioid pain management options.
• Perform procedural skills and participate in follow-up care for interventions.
• Precept students or other medical learners as appropriate.
