Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers in Asheboro, NC is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Interventional Pain Management team.

You will evaluate follow-up patients, perform exams, develop treatment plans with supervising physicians, educate patients about diagnoses and options, document in eClinicalWorks, and collaborate to deliver outstanding patient outcomes in a supportive, growth-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina NP or PA license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Pain management, orthopedics, PM&R or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage follow-up patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and overall wellness.
• Document patient encounters using eClinicalWorks.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards.
