Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and completion of AMA-recognized PA training program.
• NCCPA certification upon hire and renewal as per state regulations.
• ACLS certification and CPR certification.
• State Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.

Aufgaben

• Performs physician approved procedures independently and during more complex procedures, with the physician’s guidance.
• Obtains patient histories and performs physical exams; conducts pre-procedure medical assessment.
• Performs procedures under supervision; scope determined by physician during certification.
• Coordinate and review results of diagnostic procedures, labs and reports with physician.
• Maintain patient files and ensure accurate examination documentation.
• Schedule patients for office hours and procedures; coordinate resources.
• Consult with patient on findings and course of treatment; provide education.
• Respond to patient calls and follow-up as clinically appropriate.
