Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with fluoroscopy‑guided cases, embolizations, dialysis access, and interventional oncology.
• Perform patient assessments, consults and follow-ups; document care and follow clinical protocols.

Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Interventional Radiology

Join a growing Interventional Radiology team and practice at the top of your license in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. This role supports interventional radiologists across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings, offering hands‑on experience with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Our program is rapidly expanding, including the recent addition of neuro thrombectomy and a broader range of neuro interventions performed within IR.

What You’ll Do

• Provide procedural support (e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, drain placement, central line/PICC, vascular access)
• Assist with advanced IR cases including fluoroscopy‑guided procedures, embolization, dialysis access, and interventional oncology
• Perform patient assessments, consults, follow‑ups, and education
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality care
• Document care and follow clinical protocols

Qualifications

• NP: Virginia license; MSN/DNP; ANCC (preferred) or AANP; BLS & ACLS
• PA: Virginia license; NCCPA certification; BLS & ACLS
• Experience in acute care, ICU, surgery, cardiology, or procedural settings preferred
• IR experience is a plus, but new grads or those with strong procedural interest are encouraged to apply

Compensation Range: $54.52 - $68.15
