Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Neurological Institute seeks a Neuro-interventionalist with Vascular Neurology expertise to deliver advanced cerebrovascular care at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role involves coordination with stroke-trained nurses and physicians, and participation in on-call coverage.

You will lead treatment planning for complex cerebrovascular cases, collaborate across neurology and neurosurgery teams, and engage in clinical research to advance

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Neurology or Neurology with subspecialty in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
• MD or DO with residency in Neurology/Neurosurgery or fellowship in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
• Illinois medical license (or pending) in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including endovascular coiling, stenting, thrombectomy, embolization, and angiography.
• Lead evaluation and treatment planning for complex cerebrovascular conditions with a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists and other specialists for integrated patient care.

• Salary Range $540,084- $648,945 "As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance"

What you will need:

• Certification: BC/BE in Neurology, Neurosurgery with subspecialty certification in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
• Qualifications: MD or DO degree with completed residency in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or fellowship training in Neuro-interventional Surgery Interventional Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
• License: Illinois Medical or pending

• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide neuro-interventional and vascular neurology coverage as needed, ensuring continuous patient care.
• Engage in clinical research to advance the fields of neuro-intervention and vascular neurology with support by a dedicated research team, as desired
• Join an outstanding multidisciplinary team and robust referral base that includes excellent Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Physiatrists, Neuro-Psychologists, and Neuro-Radiologists.
• Join one of the largest academic Neurology and Neurosurgery groups in the Chicago region.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of nationally recognized medical professionals within the Endeavor Health Neurosciences.
