Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL seeks a Neuro-interventionalist with vascular neurology expertise to join a large academic neurology/neurosurgery group. This full-time role involves leading endovascular procedures, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and collaborating with a robust referral base.

The position supports research activities and a comprehensive benefits package within a prominent Endeavor Health Neurosciences network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with residency in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or fellowship in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
• Subspecialty certification in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
• Illinois medical license or pending.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including endovascular coiling, stenting, thrombectomy, embolization, and angiography to treat cerebrovascular conditions.
• Lead evaluation and development of treatment plans for patients with complex cerebrovascular conditions.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and other specialists for integrated care.
• Coordinate care with stroke-trained nurses and APPs; participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Engage in clinical research with a dedicated research team.

Location(s): Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL

Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, [hours and flexible work schedules]

Salary Range: $540,084- $648,945

As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance.

What you will need:

Certification: BC/BE in Neurology, Neurosurgery with subspecialty certification in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.

Qualifications: MD or DO degree with completed residency in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or fellowship training in Neuro-interventional Surgery Interventional Neurology and Vascular Neurology.

License: Illinois Medical or pending.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including endovascular coiling, stenting, thrombectomy, embolization, and angiography to treat cerebrovascular conditions.
• Manage and treat vascular neurological disorders.
• Lead the evaluation and development of treatment plans for patients with complex cerebrovascular conditions, ensuring high-quality and effective care.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care and develop integrated treatment strategies.
• Work with stroke-trained nurses and Advanced Practice Providers to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide neuro-interventional and vascular neurology coverage as needed, ensuring continuous patient care.
• Engage in clinical research to advance the fields of neuro-intervention and vascular neurology with support by a dedicated research team, as desired.
• Join an outstanding multidisciplinary team and robust referral base that includes excellent Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Physiatrists, Neuro-Psychologists, and Neuro-Radiologists.
• Join one of the largest academic Neurology and Neurosurgery groups in the Chicago region.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of nationally recognized medical professionals within the Endeavor Health Neurosciences.
