Job summary
Endeavor Health's Neurological Institute invites a Neuro-interventionalist with Vascular Neurology expertise to join a leading cerebrovascular program in the Chicago area. The role emphasizes advanced endovascular procedures, complex case management, and collaboration with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and stroke nurses.
The candidate will participate in on-call coverage, contribute to clinical research, and work within a large academic neurology and neurosurgery group.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with residency in Neurology, Neurosurgery or fellowship in Neuro-interventional Surgery, Interventional Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
- Certification: BC/BE in Neurology, Neurosurgery with subspecialty certification in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
- Illinois Medical License or is pending.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including endovascular coiling, stenting, thrombectomy, embolization, and angiography.
- Lead evaluation and treatment plans for patients with complex cerebrovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists and other specialists for integrated care.
