Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Neurological Institute seeks a Neuro-interventionalist with Vascular Neurology expertise at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday hours with flexible scheduling and a generous salary range.

The position requires BC/BE in Neurology/Neurosurgery with subspecialty certs in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology; MD or DO with relevant residency or fellowship; Illinois license or pending.

Qualifications

• Certification: BC/BE in Neurology, Neurosurgery with subspecialty certification in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
• MD or DO degree with completed residency in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or fellowship training in Neuro-interventional Surgery Interventional Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
• Illinois Medical license or pending.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro-interventional procedures including endovascular coiling, stenting, thrombectomy, embolization, and angiography to treat cerebrovascular conditions.
• Manage and treat vascular neurological disorders.
• Lead the evaluation and development of treatment plans for patients with complex cerebrovascular conditions, ensuring high-quality and effective care.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care and develop integrated treatment strategies.
• Work with stroke-trained nurses and Advanced Practice Providers to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide neuro-interventional and vascular neurology coverage as needed.
• Engage in clinical research to advance neuro-intervention and vascular neurology with support from a dedicated research team.
• Join an outstanding multidisciplinary team and robust referral base within Endeavor Health Neurosciences.

• Salary Range $540,084- $648,945 \"As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance\"
