Job summary

Overlake Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for Interventional Medical Imaging. The role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside technologists and interventional radiologists, with responsibility for patient prep, monitoring, and recovery.

The position requires ACLS certification and emphasizes excellent communication and customer service. Some cross-training for relief Charge RN duties and staffing support is included, with 9-hour shifts, four days per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred.
• Current WA state RN license or Multistate RN license required.
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification and ACLS required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside modality technologists (e.g., CT, Ultrasound) and interventional radiologists.
• Prepare patients, monitor, and recover, ensuring safe and efficient care.
• Cross-trained to provide relief Charge RN coverage and support scheduling and staffing needs as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with the care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
