Job summary

St. Luke's Health - Memorial Lufkin is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to help deliver excellent patient care in the cath lab, performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures and operating ancillary equipment such as IVUS and IMPELLA.

You will follow radiation safety practices and support timely diagnoses. The role requires a Radiology Technology Program graduate, ARRT registration, CPR/ACLS within specified timelines, RCIS or Cardiac Sonographer credentials, and at least three years of

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiology Technology Program.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 months.
• Registered Cardiac Elect or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
• Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate all ancillary lab equipment (IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser, angiojet).
• Scrub for diagnostic and interventional procedures with proper radiation safety.
