Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Cath Lab Technician to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. You will operate ancillary equipment such as IVUS, pressure wires, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet, and maintain radiation safety while assisting physicians.

You will scrub, position patients, capture clear imaging, and ensure timely, accurate results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiology Technology Program.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
• Basic Life Support - CPR within 14 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months.
• Registered Cardiac Electr, or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or

Responsibilities

• Operate cath lab equipment and ensure radiation safety.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting. Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers. To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

Required

• Graduate of Radiology Technology Program

Preferred

• Acute care hospital experience
• One (1) year of experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab

Pay Range

$29.36 - $43.68 /hour
