Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to provide expert imaging support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures. You will assist scrub, circulate, monitor, and manage hemodynamics while maintaining sterile technique and QA across imaging systems.

The role requires RT credentials, IL license, and ACLS/BCLS, with flexibility for 8–10 hour shifts and on-call duties as needed, contributing to patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Diagnostic RT with interventional experience preferred.
• RT license in State of Illinois.
• BCLS certification; ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to work staggered 8- or 10-hour shifts and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures with imaging equipment.
• Acts as scrub assistant, circulator and monitor technician on a rotating basis.
• Performs basic patient assessment, monitors vital signs and records events.
• Maintains sterile technique and QA for imaging and hemodynamics.
• Documents data in procedural records and coordinates with team.
• Ensures safety and operates equipment for vascular studies and peripheral work.
