Qualifications

• Current RT licensure in IL and AART certification.
• 2-year Associate Degree from Accredited School of Radiology.
• APSL/ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures; anticipates provider needs.
• Demonstrates competence in operation of imaging equipment and serves as a radiation safety resource.
• Ensures patient care is delivered safely and within scope of practice; sterile technique followed.
• Communicates clearly with providers and team to ensure QA in imaging, hemodynamics and oximetry.
• Acts as a resource to the team; provides inservices on technical skill enhancement and image quality.
• Participates in site/system teams and attends staff meetings.
