Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures with imaging and hemodynamic monitoring, rotating as scrub, circulator, and monitor tech.

Requirements include 3 years of Diagnostic RT experience with interventional cardiology, ARRT-approved education, and ability to assist with hemostasis and device deployment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Diagnostic RT experience with Interventional Invasive Cardiology experience preferred.
• RT must be a graduate of an Accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Able to provide for the special needs & behaviors of specific age groups served.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging, physiological monitoring and related equipment; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Serve as scrub assistant, circulator and monitor technician on a rotating basis.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures with devices including intra-aortic balloon pump.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret hemodynamic and oximetric data.
• Ensure sterile technique and supply readiness; anticipate needs of scrub team.
