Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to provide expert imaging and monitoring during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. You will act as scrub assistant, circulator, and monitor technician, supporting physicians with complex devices and hemodynamic data interpretation.

The role demands RT licensure in Illinois, 3+ years in diagnostic radiography with interventional experience, and ACLS/BCLS within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Diagnostic RT experience with Interventional Invasive Cardiology experience preferred.
• RT must be a graduate of an Accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current RT license in State of Illinois.
• BCLS certification; ACLS within 3 months of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Operate imaging, monitoring equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with vascular software processing and setup for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Document procedural events and QC data as required.
