Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Interventional Platform (Cath Lab/IR) in a PRN capacity. Daily hours are 07:00–15:30 with a minimum of 32 hours per month, which may include daily hours, on-call, or a combination.

A minimum of 1 year nursing experience and BLS are required. The role emphasizes patient safety, consistent documentation in the EHR, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing.
• Telehealth/remote modalities require licensure in relevant state(s).

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice improvements.
• Applies the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the care team.
• Administers medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and supports patient safety and teamwork.
