Job summary

Advocate Health in Barrington, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to join a high-volume interventional platform. This role requires four 10-hour shifts, 07:00–17:30, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
• BLS certification required; 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
