Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System in Illinois is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (Interventional Cath) to provide individualized patient care, lead the patient care team on shift, and ensure high-quality outcomes. The RN will collaborate with physicians and radiology staff to support radiology and cardiology procedures.

The role requires ADN (or higher) and active RN licensure in Illinois, with ACLS and BLS/CPR certifications expected within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ADN is required.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS or CPR certification (within 90 days of hire).
• RN-Registered Nurse - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Responsibilities

• Assess data and information relative to the patient's health or the situation.
• Collaborate with the attending physician, cardiologist, and radiologist for procedures.
• Plan and evaluate care in collaboration with appropriate disciplines for assigned patients.
• Direct and supervise nursing activities delegated to other workers.
• Prepare patient for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Administrate intravenous imaging contrast under radiologists’ direction as needed.
• Establish effective working relationships with peers, physicians, and health care team.
