Job summary

Advocate Health in Barrington, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse (Cath Lab) for four 10-hour shifts, 07:00-17:30, Monday-Friday. On-call required; employees must live within 30 minutes of Good Shepherd Hospital. The Interventional Platform includes 4 labs (Cath Lab, IR, EP, Hybrid).

The role supports an advanced structural and electrophysiology program with a comprehensive benefits package and day-one tuition reimbursement. BSN preferred; RN licensure across required states and BLS are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and escalate as needed.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols; ensure appropriate delegation.
