Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking an experienced RN with BSN or Cath/IR Radiology Technologist credentials for a full-time role in our interventional platform. The position covers 40 hours per week with on-call requirements and collaboration across leadership to maintain staffing and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, coaching staff, budget collaboration, and contributing to system-wide quality initiatives. ACLS certification within 2 years is required.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Nurse, Registered (RN) BSN or Cath/IR Rad Technologist, ARRT.
• ACLS Specialty Certification within 2 years.
• 3-5 years' experience in Invasive Cardiology and Interventional Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all policies and practices meet regulatory standards to ensure safety of patient and team.
• Collaborates with leadership to ensure adequate staffing through selection, onboarding and development of team members.
• Identifies performance issues, participates in developmental plans, disciplinary action, as well as counseling and termination.
• Provides coaching and mentoring to team members as a group or on an individual level.
• Collaborates with leadership in budget preparation by reviewing clinical and statistical data; prepares and submits reports which reflect unit operations, utilization of team members and productivity metric.
• Monitors and implements cost effective strategies (e.g., inventory, supplies, staffing to volume, etc.)
• Collaborates with associates and physicians to improve quality outcomes thru site or system implementation strategies; focus on continual improvement and ongoing strategies to improve clinical outcomes.
• Coordinate education programs to enhance associate knowledge and skills; ensures annual clinical competency completion.
• Actively participates in hospital committees and projects; leads departmental shared governance quality and safety improvement strategies.
• Serves as back up invasive team member and ensures charges posted within 24 hours.
