Genesis HealthCare System in Zanesville, OH is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist - Cath/EP to perform angiographic and interventional radiology procedures with precision and compassion. You will work in the Cardiac Catheterization lab and support physicians during complex cases.

The role requires ARRT radiography registration, Ohio radiology license, and strong patient communication. You will supervise students, ensure safety, and maintain quality standards while using HIS/RIS/PACS

Competenze

• Registered by the ARRT in radiography and Ohio license.
• Competence in diagnostic radiography and special procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to read, write, and utilize documentation systems.

Mansioni

• Operate imaging and related equipment safely for invasive procedures.
• Produce acceptable images with proper exposure and patient positioning.
• Assist physician as scrub assistant following sterile technique.
• Follow radiation safety policies.
• Load and operate contrast injectors as directed.
• Use HIS/RIS/PACS/Centrixity to manage department data.
• Assist in patient transport.
• Educate patients and families.
• Participate in radiology student training.
