Genesis HealthCare System in Zanesville, OH is seeking a Mult-skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform angiographic, interventional, radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. The role requires competency in imaging, proper exposure, sterile technique, and patient care.

The position supports a Cardiac Catheterization department, offers varied shifts and a 40-hour work week, and expects involvement in education and after-hours call as needed.

Competenze

• ARRT radiography certification and Ohio radiology license are required.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and communication skills.
• Proficient with electronic imaging systems and clinical information management.

Mansioni

• Operate imaging equipment for invasive and special procedures.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images with correct exposure and positioning.
• Assist physician as scrub assistant and maintain sterile technique.
• Follow radiation safety policies and procedures.
• Administer contrast media under physician direction and manage injectors.
• Use HIS/RIS/PACS/Centricity to access and distribute data.
• Assist in patient transport and provide education to patients and families.
• Provide training and supervision to radiology students as required.
• May assume call status after hours for emergencies.
