Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, Montana is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular (CV) Technologist to assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cath lab.

The role emphasizes radiation safety, charting, equipment maintenance, and interpretation of hemodynamic data, with a 40-hour work week and typical 10-hour shifts. Team collaboration and patient care are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of upon hire

Responsibilities

• Locates historical information on patient and maintains charts after procedures.
• Performs regular cleaning of equipment, transducers, pressure injectors, and compressors.
• Assists physician with catheter insertions during diagnostic angiography and heart catheterization.
• Demonstrates ability to recognize dysrhythmias and EKG changes.
• Records procedure data and calculates ejection fractions and cardiac outputs.
• Maintains cath lab network computers and PACS.
