UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL seeks an experienced cardiovascular professional to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures and lead clinical teams. The role requires extensive knowledge of ECG, anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional cardiology concepts with strong communication skills.

Full-time hours are available with day shifts; benefits include comprehensive medical, dental and retirement plans. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is noted for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation required
• Cardiovascular anatomy knowledge required
• Vascular anatomy knowledge required
• Hemodynamic monitoring knowledge required
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff
• Basic computer skills and MS Office knowledge
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
• Interventional cardiology procedures knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures including coronary, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral interventions.
• Responds to clinical emergencies and works within scope of practice.
• Administers and evaluates treatment and medications per policy.
• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation and communicates with physicians.
• Maintains and sterilizes equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
• Produces accurate medical records based on intervention and patient conditions.
• Trains and supervises new personnel with orientation and education.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintains accurate medical records following prescribed documentation processes.
