Job summary

St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, part of Providence, is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for per diem day shifts in Eureka, CA.

The role involves performing advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures under general direction, and collaborating with the Cath Lab team. The successful candidate will be ARRT-certified, California licensed, and hold ARRT and BLS certifications upon hire; additional preferred training in angiocardiography and advanced ARRT registration are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT School or equivalent education/experience.
• California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Certification from ARRT upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures.
• Serve as customer service representative to patients, families, the public and medical staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities.
• Provide age-appropriate care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Education

ARRT certification or equivalent education/experience

California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire

National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
