Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Lead Cardiovascular Technologist for a full-time role with 10-hour day shifts. The position includes a $20K extended sign-on bonus for eligible external hires who meet the qualifications.

The Lead Tech will oversee department activities under the Director, ensuring clinical and technical standards are met, while serving as a resource to staff. Strong cath lab experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiology Imaging Technologist program approved by AMA committee.
• California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
• ARRT national certification upon hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.
• 2 years hospital-based Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist experience.
• 2 years Cath Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tech performs supervisory activities in the department; provides clinical/technical resource support.
• Assumes competency standards for Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist and ensures age-appropriate patient care.
