Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Lab Specialist to assist physicians in highly specialized cardiovascular procedures, ensuring precision and optimal patient outcomes. You will support catheterizations, pacemaker/defibrillator implantations, IABP, and EP studies with attention to detail in a high-stakes clinical setting.

The role requires BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and credentialing such as RCIS/RCES/ARRT; Colorado Surgical Assistant license may be required depending on state

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• RCIS or RCES or ARRT with post-primary Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification.
• Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire (Colorado staff).

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Support catheterizations, pacemaker/defibrillator implantations, IABP operations, and EP studies.
• Document patient status and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise and ongoing knowledge sharing.
• Recognize abnormal results and inform primary care team promptly.
• Prioritize clinical and administrative tasks and identify process improvements.
