Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Chattanooga seeks an experienced Interventional Cardiology RN to manage care for adults in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP procedures. You will apply specialized knowledge to deliver tailored care, adapting to patient needs and responding to urgent on-call situations.

The role requires strong communication, sterile technique, and proficiency with Cath Lab equipment, with AC LS/BLS certifications current and TN RN license valid.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; 3 years of Critical Care or Emergency Nursing experience preferred
• Registered Nurse: TN license required
• BLS/CPR required within 14 days; ACLS within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care for adults in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety during procedures
• Administer medications under physician supervision
• Operate physiologic monitoring equipment during procedures
• Respond to emergent on-call situations; ensure timely care
• Manage blood samples and perform routine calculations

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Interventional Cardiology RN, you will be responsible for all aspects of care for adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, applying specialized knowledge to deliver consistent, individualized care. Every day you will utilize your knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments and interventions, providing care that is uniquely tailored to the changing physical and psychosocial needs of each patient within the Cardiac Cath Lab. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise in interventional cardiology, a keen ability to adapt care based on patient needs, and reliability in responding to emergent on‑call situations.

• Operate all equipment related to coronary procedures For Cath Lab: IABP, Impella, IVUS, FFR, rotational atherectomy, Temporary pacemaker generator, ISTAT, MedRad injector, Angiojet and manual thrombectomy For EP Lab Impella, ICE, Thermacool, Carto, Bovie, CardioLab, Stimulator, temporary pacemaker generator, ISTAT, MedRad injector and
