Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support in Fargo, North Dakota. The assignment begins ASAP with a schedule of 10 days per month, typically split into two 5-day blocks or one 10-day block.

Expect inpatient catheterizations, temporary pacemakers, and urgent care for heart attack cases, with EP workups as needed. Candidates must be Board Certified with fellowship training and have at least 1 year of independent practice post-fellowship; TEE required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiology physician with fellowship training in interventional cardiology.
• Minimum 1 year of independent practice after fellowship.
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient catheterizations and urgent interventional procedures.
• Provide temporary pacemakers as needed and manage acute heart attack cases.
• Offer electrophysiology coverage as required and coordinate with EP team.

Interventional Cardiology Physician

StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $315.25 - $341.25

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 10 days per month beginning in November; preferably two 5-day stretches or one 10-day stretch. Paid/scheduled as a 9-hour regular day plus night call.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Types of Cases: Interventional cardiology, including inpatient catheterizations, temporary pacemakers, heart attacks requiring urgent treatment, urgent echocardiograms, and electrophysiology coverage.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic
• Certifications Required: Board Certified required; fellowship required. Must have been practicing independently for at least 1 year after fellowship. Transesophageal echocardiography is required.
• Licensure Required: North Dakota or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
