Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for Interventional Cardiology in both outpatient and inpatient Cath Lab settings. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive medical care, coordinating therapy, and supporting clinical protocols in a high-volume cardiac service.

The PA will collaborate with physicians and nurses, manage medications, and participate in research efforts while maintaining board certification, NYS licensure, and ongoing CME requirements.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
• NCCPA Board Certification in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care in interventional cardiology for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients and families to support healthy care decisions.
• Evaluate and adjust treatment plans per clinical standards and protocols.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per NYS laws and privilege scope.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to execute research protocols.
• Monitor patient outcomes and contribute to quality improvement.
• Maintain licensure, CME requirements, and professional certifications.
