UAB Medicine seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Interventional CV/Structural Heart Team. The role focuses on adult cardiac care, coordinating care in a fast-paced clinic with multiple providers and no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in nursing with a Family NP, Adult Primary NP, or Adult Acute Care NP certification, or PA-C; current Alabama APN/CRNP or PA-C licensure; and BLS (ACLS/PALS may be needed).

Qualificações

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• CRNP or PA-C license/certification required in Alabama.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical care within scope of practice under collaborating physician or supervising physician.
• Coordinate plan of care, discharge planning and referrals; health care education for patients and families.
• Perform physical exams, interpret medical records and orders; participate in procedures as allowed by the collaboration agreement.
• Document assessments and care plans; ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation.
• Assist in orientation and training of clinical staff; act as a clinical resource for team.
