Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Cath Lab is seeking a Full-time Cardiovascular Lab Technologist II to perform cath and electrophysiology procedures under the supervision of the Lab manager. The role emphasizes sterile technique, patient safety, and collaboration with interventional cardiology teams, with adults 18–65 and geriatric patients.

Minimum 1 year of invasive CV procedures or CVT program required; ACLS/BLS certifications at hire. On-call duties include one night per week and one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in invasive cardiovascular procedures or CVT program.
• Requires ACLS and BLS certification by hire.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular cath/EP procedures and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility with hours to meet department needs.
• Able to work scheduled and cath lab on-call hours.
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort.
• Enter data in cath lab log accurately.
• Maintain stock levels and equipment.
• Ensure licenses and certifications are current.
