Job summary

Northeast Baptist Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to perform hemodynamic monitoring and assist physicians in cath lab procedures. You will train technicians, ensure equipment readiness, and support patient care across age groups from adolescents to geriatrics.

Requirements include 2 years in interventional cath lab or electrophysiology, RCIS/RCES, BLS at hire and ACLS within 60 days. On-call duties and adherence to safety protocols are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certificate or degree program in health science.
• 2 years of interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience.
• RCIS or RCES certification required; LMRT preferred.
• Must have active Basic Life Support on hire; ACLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures.
• Scrubs and assists physicians with procedures.
• Monitors cardiac procedures and analyzes hemodynamic data.
• Operates Cath Lab/Special Procedures equipment safely.
• Assists nursing staff in emergencies and ensures equipment readiness.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of Cath Lab areas.
• On-call duties with 30-minute hospital response.
• Precepts new staff and maintains supplies and instruments.
