MedStar Health is seeking a Cardiac Intervention Technologist II to join our team at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital and Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

The role performs angiographic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures; manages patients before, during, and after procedures; and participates as a first assistant with guide wires and catheters. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifikationen

• AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology (2+ years).
• At least 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Experience in interventional radiology/cardiac catheterization or equivalent.
• ARRT certification or registration.
• Maryland Radiology Technologist license.
• ACLS certification or eligibility.

Aufgaben

• Administer contrast media during cardiac catheterization under cardiologist supervision.
• Act as first assistant to physician; scrub independently; assist in guide wires and catheter placement.
• Maintain interventional supplies, patient records, and department check sheets.
• Operate imaging equipment per departmental policy to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Respond to on-call emergencies per department policy.
