Qualifications

• AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology (2+ years)
• 2 years' experience in diagnostic radiology
• Experience in interventional radiology/cardiac catheterization
• ARRT certification/registration
• Maryland Radiology license
• ACLS certification or eligibility

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast media into coronary arteries during cardiac catheterization per Cardiologist instruction
• Assist physician by scrubbing and aiding in guide wires and catheters; manage patient flow
• Maintain interventional/cardiac supplies and records; assist with inventory control and RIS entries
• Monitor hemodynamic physiology and electophysiology imaging; respond to on-call emergencies
• Perform pre- and post-procedural duties including education, transport, and post-procedural care
