Job summary

Tenet Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Cardiac Invasive Specialist to support a varity of invasive procedures in the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs. You will prepare patients, update line access, and assist physicians as the first assistant during interventions.

The role requires an Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related, RN licensure, and 1+ year of cath lab experience. CPR/ACLS certification is required, with call shifts expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Science with a major in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or related areas (Interventional/Cardiovasc Lab, OR, Endoscopy).
• Registration or Registry Eligible with the National Board for Cardiovascular Testing preferred; CPR/ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for invasive procedures and monitor status.
• Assist physicians during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures; act as first assistant.
• Inserts/removes arterial and venous lines; assists with vascular closure devices.
• Record hemodynamic data and maintain equipment and supplies; communicate findings to team.
