Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a part-time Cath Lab Tech in Valparaiso, IN to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. You will prepare equipment, monitor patients, and ensure safety and compliance throughout the lab.

Formación

• 1–2 years in a Cardiac Cath Lab or cardiovascular diagnostic setting required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares the cath lab for procedures and ensures equipment is ready.
• Operates specialized equipment during procedures.
• Monitors vital signs and reports abnormalities.
• Positions and preps patients to reduce anxiety and ensure compliance.
• Maintains documentation per policy.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Assists with contrast administration and medications as directed.
• Participates in quality improvement and accreditation activities.
• Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment.
• Provides post-procedural care and follows up with patients.
