Northwest Health - Porter is seeking a Cath Lab Technician to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. The role includes preparing equipment, monitoring patients, and maintaining safety standards to ensure optimal outcomes.

The position requires 1–2 years in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar setting with CVT/CRT or RN licensure and BCLS; ACLS/ARRT are preferred. This is a part-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or cardiovascular diagnostic setting.
• Licenses: CVT, CRT, or RN required or preferred depending on role.
• BCLS required within 30 days; ACLS preferred.
• ARRT certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the cath lab for procedures and ensure equipment is ready.
• Assist physicians during procedures with fluoroscopy, IVUS, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Monitor vital signs during procedures and document data accurately.
• Maintain patient safety, explain procedures to patients, and alleviate anxiety.
• Document procedures and ensure compliance with policies and accreditation standards.
