Job summary

CHI St. Vincent is seeking a Cath Lab Nurse to assist physicians with interventional procedures including cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, and angioplasties. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, coordinating with the care team, and administering medications per orders.

The role requires AR licensure, BLS certification, and on-call availability on a rotating schedule. Sign-on bonus of $25,000 is offered, along with relocation assistance and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license to practice in Arkansas.
• 6 months of acute care experience required (new grads or nurses in residency program).
• Cath lab experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required.
• Must be able to participate on a rotating call schedule and respond within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties and angioplasties.
• Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs; collaborate with physicians and nurses to create care plans.
• Administer medications and provide treatments per physician orders.
• Provide a supportive, compassionate environment for patients and families.
