Job summary

Equiliem in Morristown, NJ seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS), Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), RCIS, or RT with hands-on Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience. You will scrub and monitor during invasive cardiovascular procedures, preparing equipment and patients for catheterization and interventions.

The role includes assisting with PCI/STEMI, vascular and pacemaker procedures, and monitoring hemodynamic data, with emphasis on patient safety and protocol adherence

Qualifications

• Current Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience
• Ability to independently scrub and monitor procedures
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT), CVT, CVIS, or RCIS certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience required
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and documentation

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, supplies, and patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI cases, peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker procedures, and select interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data accurately
• Provide procedural support to physicians before, during, and after procedures
• Assess and manage vascular access sites and promptly communicate findings to the physician
• Adhere to all Cath Lab call coverage and emergency response protocols
• Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
