Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an experienced CVIS/CVT/RCIS or RT with hands-on Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience in Newark, NJ. The candidate will scrub and monitor invasive cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate hemodynamic documentation.

Responsibilities include assisting with PCI/STEMI, vascular and pacemaker procedures, and providing thorough procedural support before, during, and after cases. BLS/ACLS and IABP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab is required.
• Ability to scrub independently and monitor procedures.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• IABP experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, supplies, and patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist with catheterizations, PCI/STEMI cases, peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker procedures, and select interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data accurately.
• Provide procedural support to physicians before, during, and after procedures.
• Assess and manage vascular access sites and communicate findings promptly to the physician.
• Adhere to Cath Lab call coverage and emergency response protocols.
• Educate patients prior to procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
